  <description>Following the successful inaugural Hybrid Materials conference held in Tours, France, in March, 2009, which attracted 922 participants from 54 countries, it has been announced that the Second International Conference on Multifunctional, Hybrid and Nanomaterials – Hybrid Materials 2011 – will be held in Strasbourg in 2011. Organised by Elsevier,  the event will take place at the Palais des congrès, Strasbourg, 6 – 10 March, 2011.</description>
