Dongyuan Zhao was born in Northeastern of China, he received B.S. (1984), M.S. (1987), PhD (1990) from Jilin University. Now he is director and professor of Advanced Materials Lab., Fudan University. He was selected Chinese Academician of Science in 2007, Council Member of IZA (2004) and IMMA (2002). He has received many awards such as TWAS Prize in Chemistry (2008); IMMS Award (2008). He is now appointed as an associate editor of J Mater Chem and co-editor of J Colloid Interface Sci.His research interests include synthesis and structures of porous materials, such as mesoporous materials, zeolites, and coordination polymers.
