Research in hybrid materials has experienced considerable growth in recent years with increasing interest from a wide range of industries. This inaugural meeting - which attracted 922 participants from 54 countries, including 303 students - brought together experts from the various sub-disciplines to share current research and create an interdisciplinary forum for discussion.
