Abstract submission deadline: 9 September 2010

The conference programme will feature more than 130 contributed oral presentations and several hundred poster presentations.

Abstracts are invited for oral and poster presentations on the following symposium topics. Please submit abstracts using the Online Submission Form by 9 September 2010.

Topics and themes for oral and poster submission:

  • SYMPOSIUM A: BIOHYBRIDS AND BIOMATERIALS, including: bioinspired, biomimetic materials, biomineralisation, biosystems (sensors, catalysts, vectors, imaging), green materials, synthetic/biopolymer conjugates

  • SYMPOSIUM B: FUNCTIONAL HYBRID NANOMATERIALS, NANOCOMPOSITES AND THEIR APPLICATIONS, including: sol-gel derived hybrids, functional hybrid nanoparticles and nanotubes, functional nanostructures, selforganisation of nanoobjects, polymer-matrix nanocomposites, applications

  • SYMPOSIUM C: FUNCTIONAL POROUS MATERIALS, including: zeolites, MOFs, COFs, mesoporous materials, macrocellular solids, hierarchically structured materials

Successfully submitted abstracts will be acknowledged with an electronic receipt including an abstract reference number, which should be quoted in all correspondence. Allow at least 2 hours for your receipt to be returned to you. All abstracts will be refereed, on the basis of which they will be assigned to the oral or poster sessions. Lack of originality or not meeting the scope of the conference will be a criterion for rejection.

For revisions or queries regarding abstracts already submitted 
If you do not receive acknowledgement for your abstract submission or you wish to make any essential revisions to an abstract already submitted, please DO NOT RESUBMIT your abstract, as this may lead to duplication. Please email the Conference Secretariat with details of any revisions or queries. Please quote your reference number if you have one.

A condition of submission is that if accepted one of the authors will present at the conference.
